PECON is able to involve you and your team in the process of improvement to implement lasting, sustainable, and positive change.

Welcome to PECON, your first step in hiring an organizational development and/or leadership coach. PECON is committed to a better day at work – one person, team, directorate, division, and organization at a time.  Whether you’re at an impasse within your organization or team, you’re currently good and want to become great, or as an individual you want to better understand yourself, seek self improvement, and have greater contribution to your team – PECON is able to involve you and your team in the process of improvement to implement lasting, sustainable, and positive change. PECON is able to focus on and address problems within an organization – but prefers to focus on possibilities.

The work achieved is directly related to the results (and profit) of your organization. If the force needed to be applied is being sapped due to organizational friction, then the set distance being covered in a given day is not optimizing your work (profit). An Organizational Development Coach is the lubrication you or your system needs to reduce friction, increase work, and therefore overall profit.

Those familiar with physics may appreciate the formula for work:
W=F*D
(work = force x distance)

Strength in leadership, detailed planning, change management and building cohesive teams.

PECON is grounded in the Army’s 1st Leadership Principle of “Know Yourself & Seek Self Improvement”.  Behavioral research suggests that the most effective people are those who understand themselves, both their strengths and weaknesses, so they can develop strategies to meet the demands of their environment.  PECON owner and consultant, Stephen Cook, is a retired United States Army Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel with 25 years of service and a combat veteran. Stephen’s military experience is strong in the areas of leadership, detailed planning, change management, and building cohesive teams. Stephen also has a strong program management background and has served as an advisor and consultant to C-level staff members at several organizations. Stephen holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree, is Program Management Professional certified, and holds a Certificate in Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership and an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching – both from Georgetown University.  Stephen is a certified MBTI practitioner, DISC certified, and “12 Driving Forces” certified.
